Uttar Pradesh is a state of northern India. With more than 200 million residents, this is the most populous state in India, and the country with the most population in the world is subdivision. It was built on 1 April 1937 as the United Provinces of Agra and Awadh during British rule, and in 1950 the name of Uttar Pradesh was changed. The state is divided into 18 divisions and 75 districts, in which the capital is Lucknow.
