ABOUT UTTAR PRADESH

Uttar Pradesh is a state of northern India. With more than 200 million residents, this is the most populous state in India, and the country with the most population in the world is subdivision. It was built on 1 April 1937 as the United Provinces of Agra and Awadh during British rule, and in 1950 the name of Uttar Pradesh was changed. The state is divided into 18 divisions and 75 districts, in which the capital is Lucknow. 

UTTAR PRADESH 

Two major rivers of this state, Ganga and Yamuna, meet in Allahabad (Prayagraj) and then flow further in the form of Ganges. Hindi is the most widely spoken language and also the official language of the state.

Uttar Pradesh is the largest state (on the basis of population) of India. Lucknow is the administrative and legislative capital of the state and Prayagraj is the judicial capital. Agra, Aligarh, Ayodhya, Kanpur, Jhansi, Bareilly, Meerut, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Mathura, Moradabad, Azamgarh, Bahraich, Deoria and Shravasti are other important cities of the state.

Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh in the north of the state, Haryana, Delhi and Rajasthan in the west, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the south and Bihar and Jharkhand states in the south. Apart from these, Nepal is the country in the northeast of the state

The main court here is in Prayagraj.
